Life, lately, feels a little upside down.

The world changes daily—news cycles, economic shifts, relationships, responsibilities. And with that, it’s no wonder that many of us find ourselves asking… What now?
Or deeper still… What’s the point of it all?

In uncertain times, purpose can feel out of reach. Like something reserved for other people—people with clearer plans, more energy, or fewer worries. But I want to offer a gentler idea:

đź’ Purpose isn’t something big you chase. It’s something quiet you uncover.
Often, it begins with the smallest of questions:
“What really matters to me… today?”

Why Does Purpose Feel So Hard to Find?

If you’ve lost your sense of direction, it doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong.
It often means life has shifted—but your inner compass hasn’t had time to catch up.

Maybe you’ve left a job, or your family dynamic has changed. Maybe you’re adjusting to retirement, or simply feeling tired of running on autopilot. You’re not broken—you’re simply in transition.

And transitions are sacred.
They’re full of quiet opportunity.

Start Where You Are (Not Where You Think You Should Be)

Many people I work with feel stuck because they think purpose has to be profound.
But here’s what I often ask:

  • What brings you energy—not just gets you through the day, but lights you up inside?
  • What’s something small you do that makes someone else’s day easier, kinder, or brighter?
  • When do you feel most like “yourself”?

Purpose isn’t always about changing the world.
Sometimes it’s about changing how you show up in it.

The Beauty of Purpose in Uncertain Times

Purpose doesn’t eliminate uncertainty.
But it gives you an anchor—a thread of meaning to hold onto when everything else feels like it’s drifting.

It’s the reason you get up in the morning.
The thing that keeps you curious.
The gentle “why” behind what you do, even when the world feels unpredictable.

You’re Allowed to Redefine It

Maybe your old sense of purpose no longer fits. That’s not a failure. That’s growth.

You are allowed to want different things now.
You are allowed to start again—with more self-awareness this time.

Your purpose now might be to take care of your wellbeing.
To reconnect with something you loved but let slip.
To offer something meaningful to others.
Or simply to live in a way that feels more true to you.

That is more than enough.

A Thought to Leave You With

If life has felt heavy lately, I invite you to pause.
Not to escape—but to listen.

What’s quietly calling you forward?

Because even in uncertain times… purpose is still there.
Waiting. Whispering. Willing to be rediscovered.
